5. DMCA Takedown Process

6. Our Response Process

  • We acknowledge valid DMCA notices within 48 hours
  • We investigate and remove infringing content as expeditiously as possible
  • We notify the alleged infringer of the takedown where possible
  • Affected parties may submit a counter-notification if they believe content was removed in error

7. Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification to legal@convertdox.com. Counter-notifications must include:

  • Your identification and contact information
  • Identification of the removed content and its location
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that the content was removed in error
  • Consent to jurisdiction of your local federal court
  • Your signature

8. Repeat Infringer Policy

ConvertDox operates a strict repeat infringer policy. Parties who repeatedly infringe copyright will have their access permanently blocked.

9. Fair Use

Many uses of copyrighted content qualify as "fair use" under copyright law, including commentary, criticism, news reporting, teaching, and research. ConvertDox tools are intended to support these legitimate uses.

10. User Responsibility

By using ConvertDox, you agree to:

  • Respect all intellectual property rights
  • Only use content in ways permitted by copyright law
  • Comply with the terms of service of third-party platforms (YouTube, etc.)
  • Not use ConvertDox tools to violate copyright or other laws
